Fragments of architecture distributed a priori randomly in the landscape defines withdrawn spaces between the vegetation and the site stones, isolated from the gusts of wind, but suggesting breakthroughs towards the dunes and the sea. From the earthen road, the project is a landscape path that leads through orchards, communal areas and terraces with specific landscape qualities. The project celebrates local craftsmanship: tuya wood, shaped by local artisans, is used for carpentry and door handles; stones from the site, originally intended for the structure, were rethought—after exchanges with builders—into self-supporting elements around a concrete frame. The project is conceived with Lina Jaïdi, who led its development.
